MOUNT TYPES: To ensure a proper fit inside the window frame, inside mounted shades will have a deduction taken of approximately 1/4". For secure installation, inside mounted shades require a minimum frame depth of 4 inches. If your window frame depth is less than 2 inches, please select outside mount. Outside mounted shades should be ordered with the exact width of the area you wish to cover. Outside mounts are often used when there is not sufficient frame depth for inside mounting. Our shades come with all mounting hardware for both inside and outside mount.

INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1: Measure the width of the inside frame at three locations: the top, middle, and bottom. Record the smallest measurement and use that number as your inside width when ordering. Step 2: Measure the height at three locations: the left, middle, and right side. Record the smallest measurement and use that number as your inside height when ordering.

OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1: Measure the width of the outside frame, adding 3-6 inches to be the outside mount width. Step 2: Measure the length of the outside frame, adding 4-6 inches to be the outside mount length. It is recommended to allow for overlap to ensure appropriate coverage and avoid any light gaps.

③INSIDE MOUNT WIDTH: For inside mount, a minimum of 4 inches window frame depth is required. Choose the exact window inside width and height when placing your order, and we will subtract 0.25 inches (for mounting space) from your window width to determine the final shade width.

④OUTSIDE MOUNT WIDTH: The shade width and length should be 3-10 inches wider than the window size for better coverage. Choose the final shade width and height when placing your order.

⑤SHIPPING: We do not deliver to PO boxes and APO addresses, as courier companies do not deliver to PO boxes, and the shades are too long for postal delivery. When you shop with us, we will ensure the success of your project. If you make a mistake or encounter any issues, we have you covered.
